Jane and George Boleyn's Wedding Day

Jane married George Boleyn roughly somewhere between November 1524 to early 1525. It is very likely also that they married at her local parish of St.Giles at Great Hallingbury, Essex.

At the altar, Jane was reminded to be “faithful and chaste….amiable to her husband..wise…bashful and grave, reverential and modest….(and) fruitful”. The priest, however, didn’t give any specific advice to George on his conduct towards Jane…….. (Julia Fox, 2007)
